This course is designed to further develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in the Spanish language. Grammatical structures and vocabulary are reviewed and extended, and special attention is devoted to enhance the students’ audiovisual, reading, and writing skills by exposing them to authentic materials (literary and non-literary texts, short movies, culture videos, etc.). The course is taught in Spanish.

- Demonstrate improvement of Spanish listening skills through continuous audiovisual practice.
- Demonstrate improvement of Spanish grammar skills and vocabulary.
- Analyse, extract, and use information from spoken and written Spanish texts.
- Apply oral skills in real Spanish speaking situations.
- Select a range of Spanish vocabulary and grammar forms and apply them in oral and written contexts.

The ANU uses Turnitin to enhance student citation and referencing techniques, and to assess assignment submissions as a component of the University's approach to managing Academic Integrity. While the use of Turnitin is not mandatory, the ANU highly recommends Turnitin is used by both teaching staff and students.
