Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, students will have the knowledge and skills to:

1. Understand the fine detail of the structure of English
2. Understand key differences in texts across a range of registers and genres.
3.  Analyse the meanings of words
4. Use theoretical approaches and methodologies for critical thinking about texts.
5. Conduct research on a topic related to the English language, and to write an essay on their research outcomes.
