Histology is the study of the microscopic structure of tissues through the visual examination of morphology and physiology at the cellular level. This course will examine cell structure and function using various staining techniques and describe recent advances in microscopy.

Enrolment places are limited as entry will be merit-based and practicals require small groups. Students should email rsb.studentadmin@anu.edu.au by 30 November to register for this course. This course will be of interest to students in areas covering plant sciences, biosciences, cell and molecular biology and organismal biology
This course will run from January 23 – February 6 and all registered students will be notified by email in early December after expressions of interest have been assessed by the course convener.
