The Master of Public Policy in Economic Policy provides courses in the broad area of economic policy-making, interrogating the relationships between economic analysis and democratic processes in contemporary policy-making. The main theme running through the economic policy courses is how to improve government and the conduct of public policy in the light of an understanding of the way the economy works. Although some economics background is useful, courses are typically offered in non-technical economic ideas and analysis, business-government relations in the international economy, and applied policy areas such as trade, development, environment and the economic dimensions of social policy.
The duration of this degree is 2 years full time (or equivalent part time) however credit for prior learning or work experience may be available. Please see admission requirements below for details or contact the Crawford School for further information.
