Program Requirements
The Graduate Certificate of Arts requires the completion of 24 units, which must consist of:

By studying the Graduate Certificate of Arts you will gain a graduate level understanding in art. Studied over one semester full-time, or one year part-time, the Graduate Certificate of Arts provides a foundation for further graduate study including some Master’s programs.
Specialisations
You can choose from a four disciplines in which to specialise: Art History and Curatorial Studies, Design, Digital Arts, and Visual Arts.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate of Arts, students will have developed the appropriate disciplinary knowledge and acquired advanced skills to:
- critically apply theoretical frameworks and research techniques to understanding national and international issues and problems;
- relate a field of study in the arts, humanities or social sciences to its wider cultural and societal context;
- critically evaluate ideas and develop creative solutions to complex problems; and
- communicate and debate complex issues both orally and in writing using a variety of media.
