Program Requirements
This Honours plan requires the completion of 48 units, which must consist of:
48 units from completion of one of the following honours specialisations:
International business
Management
Marketing
Business Information Systems
Honours calculation
The final Honours Exit Level is the sum of all achieved course weightings. The course weighting is calculated for each individual course using the below formula:
(unit value of course/total units for degree) x final numerical grade of the course

Once you have met the program requirements of your degree, you may have enough electives to complete an additional elective major, minor or specialisation.
Admission Requirements
A Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the ANU, or equivalent from another institution completed within the last two years:
- with a weighted average mark equivalent to an ANU 75% calculated from the 36 units (i.e. 0.75 EFTSL) of courses in cognate disciplines, excluding 1000-level courses (i.e. introductory undergraduate courses), with the highest marks
- and with the written approval of the Honours Convener.
The number of places available in the program may be limited by the Dean due to supervisory capacity.

Adjustment Factors
ANU offers rank adjustments for a number of adjustment factors, including for high achievement in nationally strategic senior secondary subjects and for recognition of difficult circumstances that students face in their studies. Rank adjustments are applied to Bachelor degree applicants with an ATAR at or above 70. Points are awarded in accordance with the approved schedules, and no more than 15 points (maximum 5 subject/performance-based adjustments, maximum 10 equity-based adjustments and maximum 5 Elite Athlete adjustments) will be awarded. The Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) builds on undergraduate studies in management and leadership. It comprises three compulsory research methodology courses, one elective course, and the completion of a research thesis.
The research thesis, taken over the entire year with the major emphasis occurring after completion of the coursework, is the critical part of the program as it provides evidence of the student's ability to undertake original research under supervision. Candidates attend the weekly Research School of Management Seminar Series, and present a seminar on their proposed thesis towards the end of their first semester.

Application deadline:
The Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) will be commencing in Semester 1 (February) only each year. Entry in Semester 2 (July) can be considered only for part-time students. Please consult with the Research School of Management before applying.
Deadline for S1 is 30th November (11:55pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time).
Notification of outcome: Applicants will be notified of the outcome for admission by 15th January
Acceptance deadline:
If applicants are successful in receiving an offer, the acceptance deadline is 31st January
Application materials
Applicants must provide complete documentation, including a certified or coloured copy of testamur and final transcript (except for ANU students). Applicants are required to stipulate proposed supervisor and general research area.
