All students are required to pay the Services and amenities fee (SA Fee)
The annual indicative fee provides an estimate of the program tuition fees for international students and domestic students (where applicable). The annual indicative fee for a program is based on the standard full-time enrolment load of 48 units per year (unless the program duration is less than 48 units). Fees for courses vary by discipline meaning that the fees for a program can vary depending on the courses selected. Course fees are reviewed on an annual basis and typically will increase from year to year. The tuition fees payable are dependent on the year of commencement and the courses selected and are subject to increase during the period of study.

ENROLLING IN YOUR FIRST JDO COURSE
Once you have accepted your offer, you will be sent a password that will allow you to enrol and access a range of university systems. You will use ISIS – the ANU Interactive Student Information System – to enrol in your online courses.
Log in to ISIS using your University ID and password. Note that you should enrol in all the courses you wish to study during a calendar year.

LAST DAY TO ENROL AND CENSUS DATE
In 2017, JDO courses begin on 16 January (Summer), 8 May (Autumn) and 28 August (Winter).
To begin studying in January, you must enrol no later than Friday 13 January 2017.
To begin studying in May, you must enrol no later than Friday 5 May 2017.
To begin studying in August, you must enrol no later than Friday 25 August 2017.
Census is the last day to withdraw from a course without academic or financial penalty. You can find the Census date for a specific course by searching for it on Programs and Courses.
WATTLE
Wattle is your online campus – the learning environment where you’ll interact with fellow students and the teachers who’ll be supporting your study, and where you’ll find all the tools, texts and resources you need for online conferencing, discussions and debates, group work, and private study.
We contact all enrolled students when Wattle courses become available.
Use your University ID and password to log in to Wattle. Note that Wattle will ask for a ‘User Name’ – this is your University ID.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The ANU Juris Doctor Online program is made up of 13 compulsory courses (102 units) and 7 elective courses (42 units).

You must study the first 12 of these 13 compulsory courses in a specific order, and need to complete them before you can begin your elective courses.

Once you have completed the 12 compulsory courses above, you will be able to select from a large number of elective courses, including those offered online and on-campus. You can find further details of what elective courses are available by checking the Masters Timetable [PDF; 258kb].
Capstone
The final compulsory course is LAWS8713 Law Capstone Project. Allowing you to undertake a substantial individual research project that addresses a complex problem of your choice, the course offers an exciting opportunity to bring together the knowledge you have gained through the ANU Juris Doctor Online.
