Fortnightly mentoring on-line/via Skype supports the reading goals set by the student. Reading content is flexible. Reading may be matched to very specific goals, for example, ahead of designing a research topic or project or it may be completed as background research for a thesis in the Archaeological Science Master (Advanced) program. The course is particularly designed to assist off-campus students who are undertaking periods of distance learning.
