This course allows students to pursue a special accounting-related topic to gain knowledge in an area not covered by other accounting courses.
Depending on the topic, students may be required to participate in lectures, seminars, workshops, tutorials, discussion groups, and/or other activities; to undertake a guided reading program including key seminal papers and current developments; and/or to develop and implement a research plan under the supervision of an academic member of staff.

Upon successful completion, students will have the knowledge and skills to:

- Analyse and appraise complex issues, formulate well-reasoned and coherent arguments and reach well considered conclusions

Workload
Students taking this course are expected to commit 130 hours to completing the academic requirements.
