Students who complete this minor will have core analytical training in econometrics. It provides a foundation for students wishing to specialise in applied economics.

Learning Outcomes

  1. demonstrate core analytical skills in economics and econometrics;
  2. demonstrate familiarity with estimation and hypothesis testing in linear regression modelling;
  3. demonstrate an understanding of computational, statistical and theoretical tools used for research in various fields of econometrics; and
  4. formulate relevant methods to estimate causality in economic models.
