This specialisation offers students the option to develop detailed disciplinary knowledge in the broad field of International Relations. Students will develop an awareness of the theories and concepts that characterise International Relations as well as some of the key processes, challenges, and opportunities in world politics today. Students will be able to develop particular insights into pressing economic, ethical, and practical dimensions of world politics, and relate that to their own studies.

- Understand some of the key empirical and practical challenges that the world, states, groups, and individuals face today.
- Critically engage with the discipline of International Relations, understanding its intellectual evolution, blindspots, and opportunities for re-imagining.
