Admission Requirements
A Bachelor degree or international equivalent
All applicants must meet the University's English Language Admission Requirements for Students
Up to 24 units of credit is available for a Bachelor degree in a cognate discipline or Graduate Certificate in a cognate discipline.
Up to 48 units of credit is available for an Honours degree in a cognate discipline or Graduate Diploma in a cognate discipline.

The Master of Asia-Pacific Studies will give you the regional expertise you need to graduate as a leader of the Asian Century. The program provides a broad variety of courses with an Asia-Pacific focus and allows students to follow individual areas of interest in the established fields of History, Cultural Studies, Politics, Asian Languages and Regional Studies. In this program you will be taught by some of the most eminent scholars of the Asia-Pacific in the world.

Study options for your first year of Master of Asia Pacific Studies
If you are enrolling as a full time student your first year in the Master of Asia Pacific Studies might look something like the table below. However, if you are awarded course credit for previous study or if you intend to study part time, your MAPS program structure will change. In these circumstances, we encourage you to contact the program convenor, Dr Chris Ballard.
